Playing Catch up 2012

It has been a crazy busy year... where 6 months can fly within a blink of an eye. That said I will try to play catch up as we sprint into the holidays and the end of another wonderful year in the Blakey family. This will be fast and furious so put on y our seat belts.

Summer 2012 - the beginning

So our summer started out honoring my awesome sister Paula who was nominated for teacher of the year, Peyton and I went and saw her in action just a few weeks earlier when we visited her school for their musical/play about the sea (you will see that below on her Uncle Bob's shoulders)... she sang the songs all the way home.

No surprise Peyton and Talan are still the best of friends and love playing superheroes though most of the time Peyton chooses to be a princess- she is very girly! We also welcomed Talan's new little brother Asher - who arrived on Memorial weekend.... so cute!

Peyton took her first ballet classes this summer with a crazy (but the kids love her) lady named Miss Lynda. I left work every Friday to go with her and she had quite the audience with her Nanny and Jeff in the back cheering her on.... she also had the pleasure of spending lots of time at the beach - here is one at the tide pools, she loves collecting shells - like Ariel of course.
