Gordon was tasked with taking Peyton on a bunch of adventures for his first Fathers Day. The weekend started on a Thursday (why couldn't they all start on Thursday) and we headed to Mammoth. The ride was very long (6 hours in total) but Peyton was wonderful - though she has developed a slight aversion to the car seat as a result. Our friend Bill has a place at the Westin the Village -and he let us stay there... It was amazing!!!
On Friday morning we got up and had breakfast at this cute little place called the Side Door. We had enormous crepes that were very yummy and some of the best coffee we have ever experienced. Gordon had a Baja Mocha that was out of this world. Peyton met a bear - ok it was a statue but she didn't realize that....
We then toured the Lakes in Mammoth where Gordon attempted to check off item number one on his "Adventure List" - which was to find fish - mission accomplished!
